CTS 25C Sch
Supporting instrument current transformers CTS 25C Sch are adapted for measuring and protecting internal medium voltage (MV) distribution equipment.
These transformers are designed for use in SM6 switchgear from SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC.
The secondary current value is either 5 A or 1 A, with the possibility of combination. Accuracy classes for measuring circuits are 0.2, 0.5, 0.2S, 0.5S, 1, 3, and for protective circuits are 5P, 10P, PX. The transformers meet the required accuracy class within the range of 25% to 100% of their rated load.

Description
The supporting instrument current transformers CTS 25C Sch are designed for measuring and protecting internal medium voltage distribution devices. They are suitable for use in switchgear from SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC.
The secondary current value is either 5 A or 1 A, with the option for combination.
Accuracy classes for measuring circuits include 0.2, 0.5, 0.2S, 0.5S, 1, 3, and for protective circuits, they are 5P, 10P, PX.
The extreme operating current is 120% IN, and by agreement between the manufacturer and the customer, other values, such as 200% IN, can be provided.
The CTS 25C Sch transformers are designed with either a single-turn or multi-turn primary winding. Their modern construction allows for switching on the secondary side.
The maximum tightening torques for individual terminals of the transformer are:
- Primary terminals (P1 and P2) M12: 70 Nm
- Secondary terminal M5: 2.7 Nm

CAUTION! WHEN OPERATING THE CTS 25C Sch TRANSFORMER, DISCONNECTION OF THE SECONDARY WINDING LEADS MUST BE AVOIDED.
