The sensor is a capacitive divider. High-voltage capacity consists of special electrodes embedded in epoxy casting material. Low voltage capacity is a capacity output cable. It comes in a length of 12 m (length can be customized, but it is necessary to realize the effect of the total cable length to nn capacity and output voltage).

As acceptance secondary voltage 138 V was chosen to load 1MOhm. The voltage can be adjusted by additional capacity according to user requirements. Output cable is protected by a built-in switching spark gap 470 V levels.

Description

The VSO 38.1 sensor is an innovated version of the original VSO 38 type. The design improvement lies in the climatic resistance of the transmission accuracy. It is defined for freshwater rain and fog up to 1 % and for the coastal area up to 2 %.
